What does 53KHEFT24N8-708F mean?
The code is not random; reading it lets you make sure you are comparing the same model at any seller (per the brand's Egyptian models):
- 53 = the Carrier Egypt model prefix
- K = cool only
- 24 = cooling capacity in thousands of BTU (24,000 BTU/hr ≈ 3 HP)
- N = fixed-speed compressor
How many m² does 3 HP cool?
Using our approved heat-load method (length × width × height × a factor of 300 / 350 / 400 BTU/m³ depending on exposure), this capacity covers 21 to 29 m² at a 2.8 m ceiling. Suited to halls, large living rooms, offices, clinics and small shops. In halls that open onto several spaces, two smaller units cool more evenly than one large unit. Large glazing, a kitchen and the number of occupants raise the load, so confirm with a real calculation: how engineers pick the right AC capacity · what HP and BTU mean · the AC calculator.
Cooling, heating and the compressor
A cooling-only model with no heating mode. If you need winter heating, the cool & heat version of the same capacity is in the comparison below, and the price gap is usually less than a separate heater.
This is a fixed-speed model: cheaper to buy, simpler to maintain, and best suited to intermittent or seasonal use. For long daily use, compare it with the inverter using an electricity-bill calculation.
The Carrier X-Cool New series
X-Cool New is the latest generation of the X-Cool series with a fixed-speed compressor and R32 refrigerant. It sits between Optimax and the inverters: newer finish and newer refrigerant without the inverter price. Our range has 6 models in this series from 1.5 to 3 HP, and this model is the largest capacity in the series. All models are in the X-Cool New category · all Carrier prices.
Who should buy this model
The ideal case for this model: use is intermittent or seasonal and the purchase price matters most, together with heating is not needed or another heat source already exists, and the space is 21 to 29 m² with an external wall close by for the pipe route. We say that plainly so you do not pay for a feature you will not use.

Installation: what actually matters
A wall split is installed the same day in a ready space: the indoor unit at 2.1 to 2.3 m height away from direct sun, the outdoor unit on brackets with enough ventilation clearance and a drain route with correct slope.
Our installation follows a written protocol: copper sizes matching the catalogue, full Armaflex insulation, a nitrogen pressure test and micron vacuum before charging, a correct drain slope, and photos of each stage on our system. That, not the unit itself, is what decides compressor life. Details in AC installation · AC maintenance.
The unit price includes delivery only within our service areas; installation, commissioning, warranty activation and after-sales service are a separate paid service, written clearly in the quotation together with any extra pipe length, preparation, chasing or scaffolding the site needs.

What customers ask about the Carrier X-Cool New 3 HP Cool Only Split AC
How big a room does the Carrier X-Cool New 3 HP Cool Only Split AC cover?
This capacity (3 HP ≈ 24,000 BTU) covers 21 to 29 m² at a 2.8 m ceiling, based on 300 to 400 BTU per cubic metre. On a top floor or a sunny façade treat it as the minimum, and you can check with the AC calculator.
What is the price of the Carrier X-Cool New 3 HP Cool Only Split AC today?
EGP 39,857 for the unit including delivery only within our service areas (updated 12 September 2026). Installation, commissioning, warranty activation and after-sales are a separate paid service, written clearly in the quotation before any work.
Where do you deliver and how fast?
Delivery is included within our service areas in Cairo, Giza, the new cities and the coast. Because the warehouse is in 6th of October, deliveries to October, Zayed and nearby areas are scheduled faster, and in every case we confirm the appointment before dispatch.
Is the unit genuine and invoiced?
Yes. El Shora is an authorized Carrier and Midea distributor; the unit is handed over with a registered serial number, a warranty certificate and an official invoice in your name. That is what keeps the warranty valid if you need it, and it is the difference from buying on the parallel market.
Does this unit heat?
No, this is a cool-only model. The cool & heat version of the same model is 53QHEFT24N8-708F, a difference of EGP 2,179, listed in the comparison table above.
Should I buy this fixed-speed model or an inverter?
For intermittent or seasonal use, the fixed-speed model is cheaper to buy and simpler to service. If the unit will run long hours every day, compare it with the inverter (53KHEFT24DN8-708F at EGP 44,360) because the consumption gap pays back the price difference over time. The maths is in inverter or fixed-speed.
